Squad Placement & Evaluation
Evaluation Placement Requests
Our goal is to have teams for athletes of every age group and experience level. If you feel your cheerleader would best be placed on a higher squad, we require a skill evaluation and request form completed.
Request forms must be submitted by 2019. Click here to print form: Evaluation Request Form
As an entirely volunteer-run organization, Carpinteria Valley Youth Athletic Association (CVYAA) provides an experience that is not just for the participants, but for the entire family. Because volunteers are an essential part of making the program a success, CVYAA requires that parents/guardians volunteer a minimum of 8 hours per participant. A volunteer deposit of $120 per participant is required at the time of registration and will be refunded at the end of the season after successful completion of the required volunteer hours. Parents/guardians also have the option to buy-out volunteer time at the rate of $100 per participant. Parents who volunteer find to be more informed in our program happenings. Cheerleaders who do not have a signed form, deposit or payout on file will not get their uniform.
During the pre-season, you can expect to receive at least one email per month with updates. Please also check our FaceBook and Website for important information. During the season, you can expect to receive a weekly update on game day information and we also use a calling service to deliver information. Feel free to contact us directly at our emails above, should you have concerns or specific questions on our program development, policies or registration.
